O asfalto do autodromo recebeu os 5o Unos, para dar inicio à segunda época deste troféu. Com dois UNO inscritos, José Janela, João Fernando Ramos e Martine Pereira levaram o carro nº167 até ao sétimo lugar. Inglório, pois a equipa liderada por Manuel Seabra fez uma excelente prova. André Villas-Boas foi o primeiro a entrar em pista. Partindo de penúltimo lugar da grelha, devido ao cancelamento dos treinos crono, quando a equipa tentava melhorar o seu tempo. André Villas-Boas fez uma condução certa, e conseguiu passar o testemunho a Rui Faria já em 23º lugar. No final do seu turno, entregou o 168 a Manuel Seabra, que após 3 voltas em pista e em 19º lugar foi obrigado a ir á box com o carburador partido. Os nosso mecânicos António Miranda e Pedro Miranda, fizeram tempo recorde na substituição do carburador, 3 minutos!&lt;br /&gt;No final das três horas o 168 estava em 20º lugar, ficando a duas voltas de se qualificar. Mas como é lógico não foi só o carro do Team Famalicão que ia brindando os Vilarealenses com espectáculo. Era bem visível a ansiedade do público para ver os "fracotes" UNO a correrem num circuito bastante difícil. Certo é que no final de três dias em que os UNO sairam para a pista, o espectáculo foi garantido. O Team Famalicão, realizou o 25º tempo nos treinos cronometrados. José Janela e Pedro Neto, os dois pilotos que enfrentaram as dificuldades de uma prova debaixo de chuva, conseguiram levar o Fiat Uno até ao fim, classificando-se em 19ºlugar.
